Description
Under the reign of Louis XV, corruption and intrigue have been allowed to blossom in France, and Justin Alastair, the notorious Duke of Avon and proud of his nickname "Satanas", flourishes as well. Then, in a dark Parisian back alley, he encounters Léon, an urchin with strangely familiar looks, fleeing his cruel brother. The Duke buys him, intending to use the youth in a scheme of revenge against an old enemy, the Comte de St. Vire - especially when Ľon turns out to be the girl Léonie. Set in the mid-1700s, amid the splendours of Versailles and the dignified mansions of England, romance between the two blossoms, along with nerve-wracking suspense as the Comte and the Duke vie for the future of the girl.
