While three elderly businessmen are having a Christmas Eve dinner, they are visited by two kind-hearted strangers who return their wallets. The men are all killed in a blizzard, but return to Earth as the couple's guardian angels.

Finding men had never been a problem for city girl Molly Truesdale; finding the right man is another matter. And women have never been a problem for cowboy bachelor Duke Hudkins, until they want to marry him. If it's true that opposites attract, these two are obviously made for each other. Three sisters attempt to reunite their mother and father who divorced a decade ago. The girls decide to pay their millionaire father a surprise visit in New York when they learn of his intentions to remarry. The object of his current affections is headed for disaster when the girls arrive to break up the romance and bring their father home.
