What starts out as an exciting road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse following a detour to a roadside motel. Oscar, a baby chimpanzee, is enjoying his life with his mother in the jungles along the Ivory Coast. Without warning, young Oscar is orphaned during an attack from a rival group of chimpanzees. Afterwards, he attempts to survive on his own, and to be accepted by the other chimps. Oscar struggles until he is adopted by the alpha male of his group.

During one of Bonnie's post-Christmas playdates, the Toy Story crew find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It's all up to Trixie, the triceratops, if the gang hopes to ever return to Bonnie's room.
